He proposes stimulating interactive exercises largely based on critical analysis of scenes presented in images and videos. Through his career, he worked on an extremely wide range of cases, on daylighting and lighting techniques, color perception, glare, optical optimization, etc.

He built his own data base of images, measurements, and can refer to results he published in about 80 scientific papers. Also he proposes lighting calculation approaches based on analysis of pictures taken using specific wide angle lenses.
